What assistance does the Children’s Trust Fund provide, and why?

Since 1968, the Children’s Trust Fund has provided a wide range of services and self-development opportunities for youth residing in Los Angeles County who are currently under the supervision of the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). When government funding is not available, the Children’s Trust Fund provides such items as: clothing for special events, replacement of prescription glasses and/or other medical devices, educational field trips, uniforms, equipment for sports/enrichment activities, beds and dental services.
